The Artist
Piet Mullaard was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
He lived and worked in Hillegersberg, Ermelo, Groningen and Bilthoven.
He was autodidact and worked as a painter and sculptor.
He left a collection of about 150 paintings and 25 sculptures. Most of the collection is now in Canada.
